Through Domain, All Homes and Commercial Real Estate, the organisation deliver marketing and management applications supporting 5.6 million Australians across residential, new development and commercial properties. Core to the offering is the integration of personalisation, automation and analytical tools that attracts qualified buyers, sellers, renters and investors to listings.
The Challenge
Strativity was tasked with mapping the Domain ecosystem with a focus on the Developer and Real Estate Agent experience. Domain needed practical insights and understanding to inform ideation, experience design and competitive strategy.
The Approach
Strativity conducted a comprehensive market scan followed by primary research to identify the underlying motivations and perspectives of Developers and Agents. Key issues and opportunities were identified and validated. We then facilitated a series of co-creation sessions to build an agreed view on the aspirational experience and assessed this against existing enterprise capabilities. A range of strategic initiatives and capability uplift programs were then developed.
The Results
The leadership team now has a clear understanding of priorities, an agreed vision for the Domain experience with specific innovations that will deliver competitive advantage, and an optimally sequenced roadmap of activities with success measures. Strativity is now kick starting the mindset shift program through a series of experience activation sessions. Domain is well placed to capture market share from its rival realestate.com.au.
